The St. Thomas Advisory Council also referred to as STAC assists the Pastor and Principal by advising on, enhancing and implementing Christian ideas and projects that will benefit the school and its students. Purpose and Function -
The responsibility for establishing policies relating to the operation and maintenance of the parish school facilities and equipment.
Retain responsibility for preparing the annual school budget and establishing tuition rates.
To give parents the proper and necessary means of contact to provide a spirit of collaboration and communication as it pertains to the committees established by the STAC, Principal and Pastor..
To offer opportunities for all concerned to understand the Archdiocesan school program and the Catholic philosophy of education.
To learn more about education at the local, state and national level to benefit, better understand and support Catholic school education.
Acquaint the parish and school parents with the financial needs and commitments of the school.
Establish committees on a standing or ad-hoc basis as necessary.
Review and amend by-laws annually.
